Either start running the toll booths or refuse loads with tolls in route till they get it fixed

go up the food chain. Sounds like disgruntled driver meets disgruntled shop clerk. Time to stand up for disgruntled drivers everywhere.

New issue with this truck. Going straight down the road...and a "rollover warning, event recording" message popped up on the Peoplenet. After Christmas, I will request a different truck or a rental car home....this is undeniably the worst truck I have ever been assigned to.

Get the rental car home. Then in a few weeks we can be enlightened by your next job adventure.

    Did you get a 21?

If so it gets better after a while.

At 80k miles mine has this new feature that puts me up in a hotel room 3-4 nights a week that nobody at freightliner knows how to fix so after 2-3 days I do another breakdown and sit around and watch TV and eat takeout with the wife.

Every time it ends with the freightliner laptop operators telling me that they updated the software, did a regen and magically the truck is good to go. Maybe they forgot to reinstall windows or check to see if the system is Y2k compliant...

Then I pick up a trailer and the check engine light comes back, the truck starts to derate and eventually I'm pulling 40mph with an empty trailer up a 1% grade. If I don't do a breakdown eventually the dpf filter is supposedly filling up and the truck will completely shut down, no 5mph or anything just stops in the middle of the road.

When I 1st got this truck with it's new nanny system, I almost never got false 'collision alerts', now I get them daily. Today, it gave me one just before an intersection with a light hanging off one of those arched poles. I requested...after Christmas, get me out of this truck...no please, no 'if possible'...get me out of it. This has become not only undrivable, but unsafe for the motoring public around me. You never know when it will coast you off a mountain or brake check the people behind you for no reason.
