I always thought a paternity testing franchise in Indiana named Hoosier Daddy would have been popular

I met some amazing folks at each stop. Some were members of the VFW, American legion, and some were people that just repeatedly volunteer for this great cause.

At my last stop the POC lead, handed me a small box as I pulled up, I thought it was an ornament or something. We unloaded the remainder of the trailer and when I finally got to look at what she had given me, it was a $100 visa gift card. I immediately called her and thanked her profusely.

From picking up the wreaths in Maine to delivering all the stops today, it was a great experience all around.

I’ve had now three loads in the last couple weeks that have not been ready for a simple Drop n Hook... is anyone else hitting this issue? Are we maybe running that far ahead? Most haven’t been major issues but one cost me half a day of driving and another, while not really impacting me, did toss a wrench into the shop schedule for when my truck was going to hit their doors.

FCC did make it right on the one that did negatively impact me so I’m not complaining, just curious if other are hitting this same issue or if it’s just my turn up to bat.

Oh, and with this recent cold spell and snow over the last couple days, I’ve seen more than a few four wheelers in the ditch or serious accidents. And a couple Tractor Trailers either on their side or in a ditch.

    so... PSA.... or Friendly Reminder...

    Let’s stay safe out here.

We don’t need to F up our day/truck or risk injury to ourself or others. Wherever home is we all need to get there, and safely.

Drive Smart, Slow Down, Pull Off... Do what you need to do to keep the rubber on the road.

Picked up in Des Moines and dropped that at the CB yard this morning. Grabbed a load off the yard going to the Eastern shore of Maryland. It’s supposed to be there Thursday, but I can almost guarantee Pennsylvania will close the interstates to all commercial traffic Wednesday into Thursday with that storm coming in. I will see how far I can get tomorrow, but let dispatch know depending on the weather it might Friday before I deliver.

One thing to take into consideration is that some customers are having Covid-19 spikes, so they might not be able to be fully staffed. Just a thought.
