    Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) | FMCSA I'm still researching what it will take to be a training provider. If I have to follow current state law in Alaska I am screwed. Plus my insurance is making noise they will no longer cover me having learner permit drivers in the driver's seat anymore while I am training them. Currently we train in-house and we're good at it.

    The links states that:
    "If an applicant who obtains a CLP prior to February 7, 2022, obtains a CDL before the CLP or renewed CLP expires, the applicant is not subject to the ELDT requirements."
    So you have some time yet.

    Thats so frigging stupid and why I hate the government. I also worked at a few places that trained in house and did a good job. Much better to be trained by the owner of trucks than some random person that doesn't have an interest in the equipment. And they still have to pass a state issued driving test anyway

    Just unloaded last load for the year from Roanoke va to Aurora il
    Can you guys advise on the securement pls ....bundles were separated ...just chained it , didn't want to have it slided forward
