So far pa turnpike paid penndot 4.6 billion dollars and is required to pay $450 million a year till 2022 and $50 million a year till 2067,its called act 44 signed in 2007.

It easy to run around the PA turnpike most times. If staring from Ohio up by 80, you can take 80 to Woodland Pa and go 153 to 322 to State College PA to 22 to Harrisburg. You can take 80 to I-99 to State College then 22 to Harrisburg PA

Sadly, you have to look at the way politicians and bureaucrats look at it. If the loads delivers in Pa., then the end consumers there have to pay for the rate hike. If the load is just passing through the state, or originates in Pa. going to another state, then the end consumers in those other states have to pay for the raise. Two outa three ain't bad!
