I must be doing something wrong on a 5/2 with similar ADP.

 

Yep something doesn’t add up.

 

Is that too much money or should he be making more with that schedule? i`m curious since i`m attending onboarding in a couple weeks.

 

My local DC is finally hiring drivers, but with less than two years until I retire and I am pretty happy where I am and like having weekends off I am not going to apply. A few years ago I probably would have.

 

It’s really good money for a 5/2, 5/3 program. Not impossible though. I have a buddy on a 5/2 and within his first year his ADP was just over $400. He has never extended but he works full days as much as possible. He’s a couple years into it now and it’s even higher. I’m just saying that the potential is there....although I think location plays a part as well. Up in the northeast we get lots of activity pay...and good miles (2500-2800/week).

So it may seem sketchy for a program driver to make that but it’s totally doable and I think, depends on your location.

 

He's adding 25 days of leave and 4,000 or so in bonuses. That's how that may can add up.

 

But to make that much, he'd have to cash out his leave all at once and never take a day off. Because they won't pay you to take a day off you're not scheduled to work.
