Hello Mr Chinatown,
At this point all options are open? I presently live in northern San Diego area right now. Maybe relocate later to a tax friendly state like Texas or Florida! Thanks for asking? -
Wow! Still learning!

I know Melton recently doubled their tarp pay and they have the most consistent high reviews in terms of driver satisfaction that I've seen online so far .
Theyre one of the places I'm contemplating going once my first year is up in May. I wouldn't be super enthused about doing a ton of labor with flatbed but at least they pay well and treat their drivers like human beings and not truck numbers -
GM DarkNightTrucker,
Thanks for the information and would love to here back from you on your endeavor in future? Keep in touch and Good Luck! -
Apply at 10 co's and go with the one that picks you. You'll find out soon enough....a truck is a truck is a truck, a highway is a highway is a highway, a load is a load is a load, a dispatcher is a dispatcher is a dispatcher, a truck stop is a truck stop is a truck stop, a shipper is a shipper is a shipper, and on and on. Have fun out there ! !
RangersLeadTheWay, Shadalee, Solo Soul and 1 other person Thank this. -
I beg to differ with you sir in regards to companies. The rest of your comments I completely agree with. If one picks a junk OTR company to work for, and there are thousands of them, that's their own fault.RangersLeadTheWay, Shadalee and TequilaSunrise Thank this. -
