I have that on mine. Dont you have an amber/red triangle shaped light on the passenger b pillar? It lights up amber when someone is along side your trailer or tractor and turns red and audibly alerts if you turn your right turn signal on to let you know someone is there.

That was the 1st Creaffer I have seen with a blind side sensor. If we're getting them, I hope they're more accurate than the Wingman system like Magnum had. That thing would go off if there was a guardrail on a frontage road.

I agree. I used to haul open deck and the Bendix would lock of the brakes for most bridges in OK and MO. Pretty scary with a Case combine on the rgn behind me.

In my experience Volvo, Detroit, and then Bendix as far as the nanny equipment.

If yalls freightliners are set up anything like ours you can turn that blind spit radar off but you have to do it every time you start the truck back up

Yeah and it's totally crap. I like having the light but the noise it makes is by far the worst and it goes off even when it sees your own trailer while making a right turn. It'll see a car 2 lanes over and start blasting that ridiculous noise at you whenever you turn the right signal on.

I turn mine off multiple times every day.

I'm sure that some morons will stop using their turn signals because of that crap since they won't know how to turn it off

But then the new truck's lane departure crap will 'fart' at you for going over the line without a signal...which you have to turn off every 8 minutes.

I swear, safety departments industry wide preach about avoiding distracted driving, then put more driver annoyance systems on these trucks like this with sound effects that....DISTRACTS the driver. Man do I miss the good ole' days...

Watch coming across I-80 in Iowa. Trooper pulls up in the exit lane of the truck lot and

At first I thought she was looking thru binoculars, but on closer review, it looks like a new kind of portable speed detector....
