I work in healthcare (at the moment) and yea, there ARE critical deliveries needed. But they are run FedEx Critical - which is usually a sleeper straight truck....not this c r a p.
So yea, there are indeed critical medical supplies we do need. Most arrive around 530am at the hospital.
I think the 'critical' drivers are either O/O or at least seem to care about their cargo and rules of safe driving... -
FedEx Custom Critical is the Expediting Division of FedEX. They are O/O's or fleet drivers for Owners. Expediting is a whole other thing in itself. Most are team operations and they sit alot so they usually have plenty of rest/sleep. They also get paid alot more for their runs but as I said they do alot of sitting also.
-
I'd think medical supplies would just go in a cargo van unless none was available . You're right about the O/O although some drivers are contracted to fleet owners that own several trucks .
-
You could no be more wrong about that!
I have yet to see one of these FedEx ground guys that knows what he's doing! You can almost always count on the FedEx ground truck being at fault in an accident. -
FedEx Ground...Hmm. Weren't they the old RPS?
The only thing consistent about FedEx Ground is that their not consistent.
-
Don't see the red car bouncing off anything but the FE idiot. Red car was in the hammer lane probably afraid to move over knowing the FE was coming up too fast. If you notice, only the rear pup comes around...looks like FE stepped on his breaks and hadn't bothered adjusting his brakes before he took of on his "flight" to the destination. The rear pup catches the red car and scoops him into the cruiser....way to fast for those conditions!
Typical FE driving...any weather, any condition...max speed can't be late or will lose seniority!
MORON BEYOND SWIFTY WITH 2 DAYS EXPERIENCE. At least the newbie has some fear and respect for other drivers! -
They are very consistent.
Consistently, in everybody's lane but their own, causing some kind of *&^% up, being in the ditch/median in the winter, I could go on but I think you get the point.
-
Fed Ex ground in the ditch is a common occurrence when it snows.
And the scenario plays out pretty much just like your description. -
That's right . FedEx bought RPS . FEG employees won a suit to be classified as employees but FedEx got around it by eliminating single truck contracts and requiring all contractors to have multiple routes and more than 1 truck .
