Connected to the mafia huh? I guess filling out the business credit application for my fuel card that gives me discounts got me in the mafia! Who knew... I'll have to call NASTC and find out where the body dumping service is. Didn't see it advertised anywhere when I signed up.

Btw, those guilty verdicts were overturned so they did not go to jail for it. Most companies aren't getting their discounts direct through the truck stop which is what that case was about. Most companies use cards with networks.

I work for Swift as many know. I don't mind the dedicated fuel routing. As a really big company, It allows them to control their fuel costs better. Also, anytime I've had any fuel issues, like missing my fuel stop, which I have done on occasion, they simply open me up for an emergency fuel thingy. I just have to get the Comdata Station code of the place I want to get fuel and they authorize it. Never had any problems, pushback or hassles with it.

A lot of the range anxiety can be settled by tracking your truck's fuel consumption. I track the gallons I consume and will happily burn down to the last 15-20 gallons, if necessary. My fuel gauge shows 1/4 remaining when I have consumed only 1/2 of my gallons. Once you accurately track your fuel burn you can relax and dip into the last couple dozen gallons.

It will, but tell em, its a lot cheaper than a road call if you run out of fuel 60 miles away

I have a card with a fuel discount and pick a place to fuel myself since we're not big enough to have a fuel person or any of that mega stuff. But it's probably not a whole lot different at your corporate fuel department except they spend $50,000 a day lol. Just ask them for help. You can't just pour fuel in a dry engine on the side of the road and turn the key. It costs a whole service trip.... don't let that happen

Little off topic but DEF has been getting siphoned as it’s getting stupid expensive
Just a reminder get those locking fuel and Def caps. Also have heard of malicious tampering with Def. by liquids other than def being poured into tanks.
