As in my post LOG BOOK, I have a run to Sebring, FL. I’ll be leaving from Frederick, MD. so I’ll be taking I95 south. I know from checking directions that I should take I95 to I4 through Orlando to Rt. 27S. I guess this is supposed to be the shortest and the fastest but not sure if that’s true with going through Orlando. Ran through there before to Kissimmee and it was a mess with construction. Just wanted to get any input or thoughts if anyone has run that route before. Thanks.

If you can time it to be going through Orlando early in the morning. Else you might want to take 95 to the 528 to the 417 to get to 4 past Orlando. Near Disney. Those are toll roads.

If you can run the turnpike, come in to Jax, take 10 west to 301 south in baldwin, run that until it merges with 441 on the north side of Ocala, follow south to 326 head west. Jump on 75 south, take that to the turnpike south, take 429 south towards tampa, it ends on I-4, go west 2 exits to 27 south and head to Sebring.

To each their own, I run that route regularly out of Jax, multiple times weekly sometimes, I avoid I-4 at all costs, especially the heart of Orlando. 408 is directly in the heart of the mess.

That just leaves the potential I-4 disaster in Orlando. 10 over to 301 and picking up 75 somewhere before Ocala to the Turnpike and 27 looks alright on the map at least.tarmadilo, Truckersheldan and sealevel Thank this. -
I’d like to help, but my atlas said “You can’t get there from that place, as MD has somehow been torn from the book.”

Side note on Orlando. It's always a tough call when you get to Jax headed for Orlando, but 10 to 301 to Ocala is a nice ride. 75 to the turnpike. The Fla TP is dirt cheap for what it saves in time and fuel. It's the way to go for anything west or near the Mouses House. Results may vary, but it's a enjoyable ride.
NavigatorWife, mustang190, Wasted Thyme and 2 others Thank this.
