Never said it was “too much” but that it’s a bit beyond “the policy”… yes, I run the same as I did in the green truck… 1/6 or every other weekend I’m someplace… but if I double checked I think the “policy” here might be 1/7… which hasn’t been an issue so far. And they are flexible when needed. And my weeks are much more stable here too. I’m never waiting on Planners.

LOL … I guess I need to reread what I said. The point being, get your miles in, which is easy to do here, and they are flexible. You asked about policy and I shared what I did here.
Others can probably comment about taking 7/28 here as I’ve never inquired about it and that’s not how I run. But others here run harder than I do so maybe they can see that working. -
I have actually considered coming over to the flatbed division. I've gained a lot of weight just sitting behind the wheel watching the day go by. I actually miss open deck.runningman0661 Thanks this.

Not saying it wouldn’t be better for me… lol
Ya, I’ve noticed a loss of energy since coming back OTR too. Not that I’ve ever been in shape but ya driving OTR doesn’t help. -

This has been my personal experience with FCC and home time.
I usually stay out 5 weeks because I want to. When I put my home time in I always put in for 6 days. Lately FCC has been very generous in getting me home even earlier and actually spend almost 7 days home.
Doing the math the following week I don’t have a good check but in my personal situation I really need the time off.
According to my understanding they only ask for 3 weeks out and you get 3 days off... but if you ask for one more day off they will work with you.
If you work with them they will work with you.
Note: How is the grandchild doing?
Walking yet? Any picture you can share?DonRobbie, MidWest_MacDaddy and RebelChick Thank this. -
The grand is terrific! Spending time with her is about the only thing that keeps me sane these days. She’ll be 2 next month. Time does fly. This is her with her favorite friend, Boo, last week. Pardon the blanket on the window. Our sons (insert your own cuss words) dog (who he conveniently left in our care when he moved out), likes to jump up in the chair and look out the window when we are gone and we’ve gone through so many blinds and curtains, we just said screw it and put up an older blind and a blanket.

I honestly don’t no what FCC policy is on Home-time. I personally don’t have a life or never really had one So that’s why I stay out sometimes 3-4 months at a time. I have been able to keep my recap going the hole time I am out The majority of time . So personally for me Hometime don’t mean nothing to me like other drivers . I still got a brother in California my nephew is in Nashville and I still got some family & friends around Southeast Iowa so when it works out I’ll just visit with them as time allows. . I have Satellite TV in the truck and everything I need to cook with and a company fridge with the freezer to store food in . so pretty much I got a RV on wheels for me that makes me money .mushroom1464, dwells40, Silverdriver and 2 others Thank this.
