Yeah in my opinion it was absolutely disgusting that anybody would live like that but I didn't want to influence everybody else's answer to my question about how good (or bad) Magnum cleaned their trucks when new drivers get in them, because I know there are some drivers who would find that Danny Herman truck in the video a clean and acceptable place to live in. I just wanted to get an idea of how big Magnum was on cleanliness in that regard.

Anyone else get the message today about the pay? Honestly do not get excited. You need to do the math first. Giving us a pay increase is one thing but pulling back on the bonus part is a bit questionable.
I’m not saying their are hidden motives here but you ALL need to recognize magnum is a business and they just don’t give away money or make adjustments like this unless it’s still a positive for their bottom line. Sorry for sounding doubtful I guess but seems a bit off. Honestly seems more like they didn’t provide a raise just transferred from your bonus to your normal CPM.
anyway do your own math guys and see what you come up with. Don’t just do some simple math really figure it out. If it seems like a wash let us know. I don’t know about you but I liked the bonus where it was. If you took say a week off and it was unpaid and happened to land on your bonus week you could still have a decent size paycheck depending on what your miles where that you averaged.
also one other point….they just made a pretty decent sized purchase of another trucking company back in Jan if you remember.
anyway let me know what you think -
Who did they buy in January and what's the pay at?

Where's @radioshark?
He's been happy at Magnum for a while. -
As for the new Ltd pay package I would like to know as well. I’m curious if it’s enough for me to give up my day cab and go back to otr. -
Basically our pay went up a max of .02 cpm. Our base pay is now up .05 cpm. I went from 53 to 58 cpm. Makes me happy because my base pay jumped and I get more per week even on average weeks. I’ve averaged 2750 miles / week this far this year. That means my pay went up $138 / week before bonuses. I averaged .61 / cpm previously now Based off my driving averages; miles, idle, cruise control, and safety I’ll be making 63-64 cpm. Either way it’s more money for the same job. I love the lanes, customer base and culture of this company. I see many companies advertising $1800-2400 per week but they don’t tell you it’s 1099 work. Regardless we all have to make our own decisions. I seriously look at other companies all the time but unless I’m willing to make to move to a different kind of driving job; heavy hauler, specialty tanker, etc. I’m not going to be making a significant increase in my income. I’m sticking where I’m at for now.
BeHereNow97, Hawkeye72 and Winnyf1 Thank this. -

You’ll have to talk to recruiting to get the low down. Regardless if you started at .49 and hit all or most of the bonuses (5-6 cpm and easy to hit) you’d be making .54-.55 cpm, which is #### good for a driver at two years of experience. I’m sure you know that the more experience you have AND the longer you stay with a company the more money you’ll make.
I've researched hundreds of companies, especially in the dry van and reefer area and can’t find a better fit for me. -
