Fuel is now $4 a gallon, time for all of us to demand $4 a mile minimum on all loads

I predicted $5/gal diesel when the Mad King took over. We're almost there. With energy shortages in China, India, Lebanon and the EU driving up prices; heathen dirt worshipers shutting down domestic production and the Mad King continuing on with his $5 trillion, "infrastructure" bill to drive up inflation to new highs I have no doubt we'll get there.

The Christmas shopping season will only put additional stress on collapsing supply chains. Forcing the big fleets to fire anyone who doesn't want to be a lab rat will accelerate the collapse. They're firing DOCTORS and NURSES - during a pandemic. What, you thought we were safe because of ATA's, "driver shortage" myth? You'll be lucky to find spare parts, tires, fuel and oil filters in the coming months that aren't stuck on a container ship. I wouldn't count on finding diesel/DEF at truck stops much longer either. Rates are the least of your worries.
