Walmart I found to be the BEST

Wal Marts used to have a stellar reputation as a driving job. My company has a lot of their former drivers who got sick of the Wal Marts nonsense.

 

Listing the companies helps newbies like me know who is trustworthy or not and who is worthwhile to work for

 

When start out as a newbie every mega that you work for will be a turd. Keep your nose clean, don’t run over anything and in about 18 months you can go to work for just about anyone. Get every endorsement you can on your license. You may never haul hazardous but it will come in handy down the road.

 

Walmart is the best.

 

I agree, here's why, in a not so much "trucking" as to just what kind of company Walmart is. Our Walmart, #291 in Salida, Colorado, is,,,THE WORST WALMART IN THE WORLD. They take away the small carts, CONSISTENTLY the same products not in stock, lousy produce, having had enough, I fired off a letter to corporate, and to my surprise, they got right back to me, genuinely concerned, and even got an email from the store manager, at least trying to explain the shortages and will return the small carts. Maybe it's being a small town reflects that attitude, Walmart is undoubtedly the biggest retailer in the country, but still has some of Ol' Sam's roots and I wave at every Walmart truck I see. They are literally our "heroes". Without them, we'd be in a world of hurt. I salute you, Walmart drivers,,you da' best.

 

I would consider it an honor and a privilege to haul a load of Great Value canned corn.

No, they moved onboarding to Searcy AR. When I went in June, it was the 17th class that they had this year.
