I hope you’re not thinking God is going to help you out before he gets me out of doing the dishes tonight. Get in line pal!

Not always easiest if you've got full round yokes and limited access to the driveline. Add in 30 below and blizzard I'll take axle flange bolts and a sledge over driveline any day of the week.

We carried a Tiger Tool for those. Zipped right out with an impact.

If you got a rear end damaged, as the op indicated, you need to pull axles to keep from turning what’s left in there into some sort of lumpy nickel steel gravy. Thereby destroying everything else in the punkin.

    AModelCat and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Houston might be bad, but do not get a truck towed in Wyoming! No rules, just pay and pay.

Most, not all truck tow companies are crooks. they parasites in the trucking industry who prey on the helpless.
their claim is that they have a $750,000 tow trucks that needs to be paid for, but when you look at them they have all these elaborate expensive custom paint jobs and bells and whistles on them.
    A 40 mile tow which generally costs anywhere from $700 - $900

I pray the federal government regulates these jerk-offs someday

I'm pretty sure a nice paint job is a drop in the bucket on a rotator.

True. But you don't need a rotator for a simple tow.
