Since when have we started hauling Amazon? My next load delivers to Amazon south of Indy on Monday (was gonna be Sunday, but this incident screwed that up)

The last Amazon I did was like 3 years ago,and after I got there.they rescheduled me for the next day because they were so backed up for Christmas .
It was like a 30 hr layover.Speed_Drums and dwells40 Thank this. -
I’ve done a few Amazon loads as backhauls coming back to NC from the Louisville area to the Rocky Mount NC area… they load us full of shoe returns. Also have done Zappos. Always been a fast load, it’s light and fast unload….
Makes me laugh at the weird combos we do… flu vaccine to Louisville and shoes home… or Insulin to Indy and candy back to NC lolPamela1990, Speed_Drums and Winnyf1 Thank this. -
Ive delivered to 2 amazon fresh warehouses. The one in ft worth will unload me and it doesnt take long. The one in dallas makes you unload it yourself. They say if they step foot in your trailer theu can get fired. The one in dallas woke one of their drivers up in a dock door and made him move so i could have the door. They dont even count the product just make sure the pallet count is correct

Well, the repair got done to the trailer. He managed to get me done with enough time left on my 14 to make it to Waddy for the night. Delivered my Hershey's this afternoon and grabbed an empty, then had to hit the Beacon for a washout. That warehouse in Edwardsville is almost as good at crushing pallets into the floor as a Walmart DC. Got over to the warehouse to pick up my Amazon load. Got dropped and hooked and scaled out nice and legal. The load info said in one section, dry load. But in the comments and on the B/L it said keep above 40°, and temp controlled load. So, since it was gonna be down in the upper 20's going across IL and IN, I set the reefer at 50° on cycle, waited a few minutes for the system to talk to the reefer or vice-versa...sent in the load call, and rolled out...and then got a load call failed message. Since it said dry load, and the reefer was running, it got confused...so OP's had to set it up as a temp controlled load so it would work...but I wasn't waiting around. Ended up just stopping in Brazil for the night and did my load call again. I will roll the other 70 miles in the morning...but on a positive note, nothing got damaged on my truck or trailer today, so that's one day in a row.

Amazon in Greenwood, IN gets 2 thumbs up. 45 min from checkin at inbound gate, unloaded and out the exit gate. 0 complaints. Now, they have me picking up at the Interstate warehouse in Franklin IN going to Denver... supposed to be preloaded, but, the only empty they had to preload had a problem, so I am live loading. It was suppose to deliver tomorrow, but it's 1100 miles, and I already started my day, so looks more like a Weds delivery at King Soopers, and it's not bananas, so who knows what kind of unload time I'll have there.
Speed_Drums, Lonesome, Pamela1990 and 3 others Thank this. -
