Personally I wish they would abolish tipping and stop expecting others to make you have a liveable wage.
I never go to a restaurant that requires a tip to pay their employees if the company they work for that cheap work elsewhere. Some of the countries I visited when traveling younger overseas with my uncle while he was in service it is considered disrespectful to tip.

You need two people who work well together. It takes 2 people to do the job. l have had some military shipments that didn't pay well enough to hire a helper but ended paying out of pocket to haul it. Just say no to GBL

This is true but in the moving industry the driver dose pay a good wage to the helpers that is why I said that tips are not necessary but are appreciated.

If someone wants to tip that's one thing but growing up in Japan for a little over 6 years taught me its should be part the service. My personal view is this if you don't like wages take it up with an employer or find something else.

When I did my landscaping you would be surprised how quick they leave. even after I paid them an average of 10$ and an hour and the boss on site would make from 13- 20 depending on what he brought to the table rather experience from other areas of expertise or clients.

I made sure I told all clients there's no need what so ever to tip them. If they did I didn't have a problem but I never left the impression they should feel need to pay their wages. Most landscapers around my area would be close to minimum wage and or under minimal wage because they could because they hired undocumented. Make no mistake I have no issues with them per say I don't agree with the methods they come here my grandmother came from Italy and they had to pass very harsh test coming over on a boat to be able to stay back in WW2. If they won't healthy enough they would send you back regardless if death awaited you if you were sent back. that's of course if you survived the trip back.

Back at hand my biggest issue is taxes is why I could not employ them I did employ some who recently became a citizen. the issue was I guess they aren't used to hard labor Idk the pay was there I treated everyone equal in pay based on experience. I found the best workers were black and white people and normally they were former felons.

Eventually, I fired the lazy white guy, I made one them a partner name was Ron he was a former felon he was great at hardscaping that was his specialty, he loved making custom ponds, and swimming pools. His dreams was to own a company when I sold out my share, well before I did he was at 51% prior he was 30% the deal when I sold my part he would own 51% and the bigger company would have him as the co-owner. What he did with it after that was up to him. The money I made I reinvested on something else.

That's great. I lived in Japan for 7 years and in asia for more then 18 (oh btw I am Asian) so yes I do understand the culture of not tipping. I pay my labor on average of $20/ he is that a living wage? I think so. If the customer tips great if not no big deal to me. The labor on the other hand get pissed. They will approach me before the job even starts and want 200 for the day or a dollar a hundred weight. Most can be greedy.

Any business is hard to start, even a coffee shop. Start by buying a truck, and then you have already been advised. In any case, first aim for quality of service, not money. Whatever it is, try it. Quality moving is always appreciated. And most of all it`s valuable when you do your job without fakaps and responsibly. When I was moving, I had to look for a long time to find the right service, btw chose removals Switzerland. But the long search was worth it - everything was done quickly and all my things remain intact. So focus on quality. That way you`ll find more customers.

I've moved many times over the years. The best experience was with Moving & Storage Company | Nashville | Franklin TN
Moved from Nashville area to Beijing China.
Very professional when the people picked up my stuff at my home.
In Beijing, a Chinese company brought it to my condo.
Also, very professional. Tried to tip the delivery guys; two of them, but they refused a tip. Said, "You paid up front in Nashville, so nothing more is owed."

I live in Henderson, Nevada now. I've lived in China and own homes there.
When we go there, don't have to stay in hotels; we have homes in two different cities.
Yeah, I do have 'Yellow Fever' which is a strong attraction to Oriental women.
