The joy of communication for OTR drivers over the weekend. The mirror foggers that they hire to work the office over the weekends are more concerned with social media than dealing with phone calls.

I'm just here relaxing in a hotel room, kinda glad my transmission went out. Been out since October and didn't realize how much I needed some rest.

Place I'm to pick up my recovery truck is closed till Monday. Hoping I can just bobtail back to where my other truck is cause I didn't pack any bedding.

Got fooled again. Op's said this McLanes would take me after 10am this morning, so I head on in....I get here 5 min after 10 and....NOBODY IS HERE. This is without a doubt the most unorganized incompetent group of people I have ever worked for,..I waste more of my logbook going on endless wild goose chases than any other company... truly mind boggling that they manage the find their way to work every morning.

*Update-after I stopped at W.Memphis for a quick shower and my '22 cab card and IFTA, that's when Op's assured me that the customer would unload me after 10. When I got there, and nobody was home, they then found out, that place isn't open on the weekend, so it's back to W.Memphis to T'call (and yes, I put it on concrete). Once, just once, I would like to see them get something right...hell, I once had a broken clock...it was right 2x a day.

Do they pay you for the extra ‘wild goose’ miles?

Last time I was at McClanes in Memphis they didn’t start letting trucks in before 10 pm. You had to back down the street in front of them, then it’d be 10 and it was a mad rush to the check in intercom. That was a few years ago tho.

A crete driver posted his end of year check. So these are the kind of drivers in the top 50% bracket. RDT_20220101_1229107342887622333461168.jpg
