Hi everyone, I have a question about a job I just took. I have a class A with all my endorsements but no experience. A small local company gave me the opportunity to drive for them. But im wondering if what I'm doing counts as experience to get a better job after a year or 2 here.
The position requires a class A and it's a 26 foot flatbed truck with a 20 foot trailer hauling a forklift. I was wondering if this will count as verifiable class a experience to other local companies? Or does it specifically have to be a tractor trailer? Thank you
Does this count as experience?

At this stage in the game, I think if you prove your worth as a capable hand and keep your record clean, 6 months of experience at any Class A CDL position should open you up to a plethora of opportunities.
A 26 ' FB with a 20' trailer and moffet I would imagine will require a skillset far beyond simply slamming doors and wrecking fuel islands.Digman943, God prefers Diesels, Waterman_99 and 2 others Thank this. -
