A 3 pound “drilling” hammer works great, it has a nice short handle. I don’t pull boxes but we do have some sliding axle flats and steps. I try the handle first, if it doesn’t come our easy, I start hitting pins. Usually the one or two that are stuck will hold themselves in once they are pounded in far enough.

The last couple times I was there, they didn't have the questionnaire, but both times were live load because they didn't have the people to preload a trailer, and there were empties available. Sometimes it's a blessing in disguise not running the northwestern states much any more.

@RussianBearTruckeR wow I had to look for myself. That isn’t a bad run to be doing. Let me know what you hear about it, if they really need drivers that bad for that run I’d do it as well..

    JoeyJunk and RussianBearTruckeR Thank this.

That run has been posted since last year. They actual just raised it. Used to be .70 - .75. Must really need drivers but if they are claiming you can make 100k AND have 2 FULL days off a week, why aren't more drivers jumping on it?

Must be a reason that dedicated run doesn't have a waiting list if it pays so well. Could just be people don't want to run that lane but for that kind of money nd hometime I'll relocate from Texas to Tennessee :p

Not just Crashville but Indy too...sorry, to deal with those two cities every load, I would need hazard pay or a congestion bonus like delivering to the 5 boroughs of NYC
