Microphones on ELD tablets

Did the OP ever mention actual proof they were listening or just assuming so based on a setting they saw on a screen? Just cause it’s enabled doesn’t mean they are listening. Heck the company may not even be aware that this function exists.

 

"Let's listen in on TB John this morning" crack, snap, crunch, crackle, creek. (joints cracking), hack, cough.gag, hack, snort. (working up the days first throat oyster). Putt, putt, sqeek, blat, putt,putt piff, blaaaat. ( last night's bean and shreded beef burrito)
Then I recite the Lord's prayer in Swahili, just in case someone is listening .

when i was with transport america several yrs ago, had onboard scanning that plugged into QC. 1st time i plugged in, a window popped up asking something about the camera. could never access it. & dispatch denied it. lol.

 

You should never swear. Swearing, according to scientific research, is a sign of intelligence. And, truck drivers are not allowed to be intelligent. In fact, that’s the fastest way to get fired.

And yes, if the female safety gal hears it, you’ll be in even more trouble! She’ll likely sue your trousers off and then you’ll get arrested for indecent exposure!
