I'm wondering what hobbies some of you OTR guys have been able to find and enjoy while out on the road. Some of my friends who are former OTR drivers said they spent most of their free time watching television, cleaning their trucks or exercising. I don't expect to have a ton of free time but I'd like to have something to stay busy.
I'm a big car enthusiast and have a couple project vehicles, a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins and a 1987 Buick Regal and obviously if I go OTR I won't be able to work on them while I'm away from home. I imagine I'll be eager to work on them when I am home. I also enjoy building and collecting model cars and trucks, both diecast and kits. I figure that is something that I should still be able to do on the road.

Do day trading like @TravR1 does. He can advise on the best software for a laptop computer. I used to do it several years ago, but my wife took over; she's more knowledgeable than me because she was a stock analyst in the financial sector when we met.
