Don't give them any ideas...to save money, they'll outsource to our favorite country full tech support consultants...'Helooo, technical suppor...I mean Shaffer trucking, how can I screw up your day today'.

They actually rescheduled the load and re-offered it. Now I deliver in central IA...and a flipping rain/ice/snow storm is moving thru. IA and WY, 2 of my least favorite winter destinations

Most of their office staff can’t find their way to work without the navigation in their car. How would you expect them to plan a truck route?

I remember the days when our "safety director" couldn't drive himself to work because of multiple DUI's

Hey you joke, but I’m not kidding when I worked in St. Louis at a major LTL company I was getting a bill reprinted from OS&D and while I was waiting I just happened to say casually to the office manager after noticing an empty cubicle, “hey where’s ‘Lisa’? She call in with anal glaucoma?” to which I got a reply “no she called off because her car had to have warranty work done and her loaner doesn’t have GPS”. o_O I thought she was joking. She was not. “Lisa” had worked there for like 2 years. And I knew abouts where she lived, and comin from her way to work, off the interstate you take the exit and you’re literally looking at the terminal. Like if you don’t hit your brakes you’ll be thru the fence and if you carry enough momentum, on the dock. Some people man. It’s a sad state.

Ah the joy of sitting at Lincoln til tomorrow to get bunk heater fixed....again....for the 8th time in 6 months. At least they deactivated the opti-idle so I can have heat tonight. Supposed to bottom out at 9° by tmw morning.

Gonna ask them to just replace the whole #### thing instead of rebuilding it one piece at a time.

Side note, got to finally check out the new drivers lounge and upstairs. Wonder if they put the main lounge downstairs so some of our laaaarger drivers don't have to climb the stairs?? But they put an elevator in too... go figure...lol.

After 2 and it failed again, I would've said to them, I've got the right tool to fix it...and hand them my hammer...fix it right, or I will fix it for good, then you'll have to replace it...after I turn in my keys. It is a simple unit, these half tard "technicians" couldn't diagnose a bad case of hemorrhoids (because their head is in the way).

This is a first. When I deliver this load today (2/22/22) it will put me at 2222 miles for the week. 2222 on 2/22/22...(cue the Twilight Zone theme). Maybe I should play the pick 4 lottery (but I'd play it straight and not box my numbers)

Now my Peoplenet is adding trailer numbers by itself. I was correcting some of the extra on duty time it adds any time you stop and go off duty, and I noticed that it had 2 trailers on today's log, the extra was the same 6 digits, just with the last 3 switched around, and both were on yesterday's too. I didn't enter both, but both were on there. Note to self - make sure your next company doesn't use Peoplenet...or Junk-liner
