Did you let your air bags empty if not your tandem wore spinning makes suspension hop back up with the drives that are engaged come off the ground and spin without traction?

Ya, 50 degrees out on dry pavement. I’ve had them seize up on trailers that sat for too long and had to give them an attitude adjustment to get them to release.

But this was a first for me on a truck… I think. Especially impacting one set but not the other.

I called the Shop and they thought it could be a few different things. So I’ll watch them and I’m due for a Shop visit anyway so I’ll have them look at them specifically when I’m back in the Greater Omaha Area.

    Thanks

Front Drives were locked and Rear Drives were pushing the Truck.

Finally getting in sync on this dedicated route. It’s a bit different than my normal 1,200 mile runs but after a couple days it’s coming together.

Monday and Tuesday had a few hiccups that killed a couple hours of my clocks. But today I finally got a full day of driving in.

If I lived back here in Central Illinois, I’d seriously consider applying for the job. I’d run it as a Week out and Weekends off instead of Home Daily but I doubt the Boss Lady back in South Carolina would go for that idea… lol … plus the pay cut, ouch.

and I think I’d get a bit bored with running the very same route day after day. So for now it’s a nice little change up from my normally NC and GA runs.

Snowing in KC. The roads aren’t TERRIBLE at the moment but they starting to get a little greasy and I’m sure not any better til it stops tomorrow morning. On another note, I did a swap out at the Walmart DC in Harrisonville MO. The lady behind the glass to check in is probably the nicest person I’ve ever encountered at any Walmart ever. Including stores. The empty I got looks like they unloaded it with a backhoe though, I’ve never seen so much pallet kindling. Be safe everyone.

You ought to see what the inside of a reefer trailer looks like with the channeled floor after Waly gets done having a pallet crushing contest (that's what I call their unloading).

Sometimes I think they unload with a mini dozer.

Maybe they are so desperate for workers, they have been recruiting at the local school for the blind...and their seeing eye dogs aren't allowed in the warehouse, so they have to unload by feel.

Those Chep pallet loads we take to Cargil in Schuyler, NE are worse! I swear it looks like they take a sledgehammer to half the #### load! I don't know how they use any of those pallets looking at what they leave in the #### trailer
