You probably got seriously dehydrated when your system was purging what ever it was. It can take quite some time to get back to normal levels. Keep up with the liquids. Try some cranberry and/or pomegranate juice. They will help your system recover.

Pileups in Wyoming have been brutal this year, drove past this one this morning.

It is super hard to get people to not tailgate on slick roads lately. Often I feel like dropping another 10mph and forcing them to pass you is the only option to get them to quit putting my life at risk. Doesn't' help that you can see people futzing with their smart phones while in closely bunched packs and failing to keep their lane.

Almost every major closure in Wyoming the past couple of years could have been prevented by people just leaving more space and ignoring their #### phones.

RIP Buckwheat. Zydeco for a redneck country boy is an acquired love.

If figure if that old fart at 43 seconds far left can dance with a youngin so can I. This is a bucket list item for me! The guy Keri is seeing some was stationed at Ft Polk sometime ago and he and I were discussing this. Keri has never done anything like this but wants to. I see a trip in the future. Watch out! This old fart might be dancing with some young girl later on! :downtown:

Time to go back to work, as I’m officially a safe and well rested operator, according to the fmcsa and the tattletale.

You, 100%. Good for you. Always someone trying to get free a Labor from a Truckdriver.

After your post of the pic/box/detail, I in curiosity went to eBay and searched. Lo and behold there is one. listed s as "slightly" used.
Pics and description is of knife; in plastic wrap, original box and holster. I ordered it and should receive by 4/22. Amazing.

No idea who is right, but sometimes you have to draw a line in the sand and refuse to cross it.

To avoid an argument I won't say where, or when this happened. I won't even say what happened exactly. I just got enough of BS on a delivery I just notified the people I was leaving AND taking the load with me. As I was sitting waiting at security a man drove up in a small golf cart and walked up to my door. I rolled down my window and he asked me why I was angry. I told him! He said one of our lines will go down in about 2 hours if that load is not offloaded. I said not my problem rolled up my window and after telling some lies in my comic book I departed and went to a Truck Stop about 15 miles away. I called my company and spoke to my fleet manager. The account manager then called me and asked me to go back. I refused! there was not another driver even within 500 miles of my location. Not long after this, I noticed a man in a pickup driving through the parking lot and then noticed it was that same man. this time his attitude was different. He apologized to me about the idiot who lit my fuse and said he would not be close to me and asked me very nicely to come back. I did. I got unloaded and all ended well. The next time back to the main terminal I was called in to speak to the operations manager about my actions. He was not happy. I informed him I could have my truck cleaned out within an hour AND have another job before I was finished! The man just walked away and never bother me again. As a driver, you are not going to win every battle! Just pick your battles wisely and whatever hill you decide to die on be ready to do just that!

Good article. States in 1980 average pay was 110k in today’s money vs. 47k in 2020. I think that’s dead on accurate. I remember my Dad grossing over $1000, in 1980, at .33 cpm as a Teamster Driver. He was making about the same in 1998 when he retired.
