Yeah. I thought since he was always asking about drinking beer on the road, he got busted. But he was a happy enough fella. Good guy.

He’s still out there. Lurks here. Surprisingly intelligent fella. I always’got’ his sense of humor.

And he does truly luv cats.

Just funny who you run into in the strangest places out here OTR.

Hey, I resemble that remark. Back in the early 80's I hauled NC wood chips two evenings/nights a week up the mountain to Campion Paper in Canton. I had taken some time off the road, and it brought in extra money.

Always wanted to take the big ride up in the air when they dumped the chips out, but didn't have the nerve.

Almost everything then was cabovers and 40 foot trailers, so the whole truck would fit on the lift, and away it went. The operators told me I could go up, but just couldn't do it.

Since you brought up past members—I heard from Uncle Pete a little while ago and he got roped into training rookie drivers— I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in the cab of that truck

I’d certainly be interested in an @Oxbow official interview- from the limited jobs I have seen from their worksites I’m quite impressed.

Hasn't been terribly impressive this spring. Ice, frost, and now mud, but we do get to work in some cool places!
