DOT violations; how bad are they for future employment?

    I think texting would show up on an MVR as well (even in your personal vehicle).

    Sounds like you're a local boy.

    Locals don't care about csa.

    DOT might. Depending on the record of problems. And as mentioned. It only effects them for 2 years.

    As for lights not working. I wouldn't even worry about it.

    They took weight violations out of consideration under CSA about 11 years ago : - )

    I'm tired of being sprayed with gravel , guys around Wisconsin are to lazy to hit the auto tarp button.

    No turn signal is an Out of Service violation. Solid hit to the company safety score. You can look to see how much by looking at the company safety snapshot using their DOT number on the Safer Web. You can look up your specific inspection and see what the score was.
