I'm not sure what you mean by local, but I want to be home most evenings. I could probably do any of the surrounding cities and still be home in the evening. Thank you for your help.

Thank you, that's important information, it doesn't matter how cheap the school is if it's harder to find work when your done. The school is on the registry but I may have to look elsewhere. Thank you again.

"How many hours of instruction is given to students?"
You want 160 hours or more. That is a number many insurance companies require and they dictate to the trucking company who can be hired.

Local driving jobs often require you work 12 hour days. Don't volunteer for a long commute. You will be doing a daily round trip, so a 60 minute commute will be 2 hours on top of your work day.

Thank you. It looks like its only twelve 10hr days (120 total); I won't bother unless I get at least 160. Thanks again.
