I guess they're not worried about my health any more. I shut down before 13:00 yesterday, it is now almost 08:00 local time and no wellness beep. This is why I don't believe it when they say it's an automated thing in the system and they can't turn it off. If that were true, it would be as predictable as your hours message you get, only instead of a specific time, it would automatically beep after a specific amount of time.

We have an account with The washout place right behind that truck stop next to the Corinne Walmart dc. They're supposedly open 24hrs, but I've only used them during the day.

Cool, thanks. Was gonna head up there shortly. There is a Boss Wash an exit or two past where I am picking up but the one in Corinne has better reviews, and as dirty as this trailer is, I need a good washout not just a rinse like some places do.

Well, my day, and my trip have gone to crap.

What you see below is my clutch pedal...and it's on the floor.

    PXL_20220518_023817890.jpg

Was coming across Wyoming when I came to some stopped traffic in Rock Springs. Hit the clutch to put the truck in gear to roll forward and the pedal went to the floor and stayed there. Fortunately I was on a downgrade so I could roll forward enough to slip it into gear and stay waaaaaay back off of traffic so I could stay moving. I milked that sucker all the way to the Cheyenne yard, and thankfully there is enough of a hill on the loaded trailer drop area I could start rolling back so I could slip into reverse to back up. But the fun part, these new trucks won't let you start the engine with it in gear, so I had to wind the landing gear down more than I should so when I dropped the airbags, I had no pressure on the 5th wheel. Then it was start the engine, and just as it fires up, slip it into granny and pull away. Then, I had to drive right up near the building to get enough of a reverse roll bobtail to get into reverse to back up with the rest of the bobtails for the night. I checked the master cylinder and it is bone dry, and it had fluid in it earlier when I was checking the oil...so I either blew a slave cylinder or a line because I don't see any signs of a leak inside around the billows or on the firewall. So now I get to wait until morning because breakdown says to take it to Freightliner and they closed before I got here.

That US Cold storage let me drop so day going OK. Now to wait for what Chicago land load they have me take out of here come the afternoon.

Hope that clutch issue you got doesn't make the shop take your truck away and give you a auto.

    Lonesome and supersnackbar Thank this.

The annual review, as in your accident/ticket paperwork we must do every year...or the call in and talk to your fleet manager to tell you where you need to improve?

Got a run that's already preloaded and sitting at the Joliet drop yard going to the General Mills Facility in Murfreesboro for a drop tomorrow.

Never dropped at the GM plant before so will be interesting. Maybe I'll run into some drivers who do the .75 run from the plant.
