We have a button for air assist slide but when I first started they said all 5th wheels were bolted in place and can not be moved.

Must be all the way forward with those #’s
Probably to save fuel. More aero but less convenient for making a load legal.

Hopefully scales are closed or give bypasses come night.

Shut down after scaling on i24 and taking this load all the way to St Louis.

Normally I would of declined this load since it is a 10am load and 10am unload but it gets me to my next load which is preloaded headed to San Antonio where I live.

I probably could set my rear tandems all the way back and still be legal on drives but that won't do much for the steers.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

You need to get some weight off the trailer and onto the drives anyway.

That was my original scale. I have already moved my tandems but just pondering on the steer weight since I'm about to add 100 gallons of fuel on top of it.

You’re not setting your truck and trailer brakes on the scale are you? That will throw your weight off like that, it’s nothing likely you have the much on you steers with only 26k on your drives.

That probably was it. Use the app and my connection was slow so set my brakes when I scaled. Will just scale again before I head out.

Only if he has an air ride trailer. Spring ride it won't make a difference
