Could you get two of those on (or one and a smaller) by running the steering up on the tail? Stack tires on the goose neck? Friend who did JD to South had some weird configs. Had a longer trailer tho I think. And a hydraulic system.

###### sure was. 51 to late 58. Run a long as you felt like it, or needed too, sleep till you woke up. Shipper loaded you reasonably soon upon your arrival, and it was understood... Unloaded when you backed it in, on the dock.. He could rack it in his sequence after you left. Grain, feed, farm supplies...Fertilizer.
All mixed with 2 Farmall M's inside a cattle trailer, or embargoed cement out of MS to Dallas, TX on a flatbed listed as 5-10-5 fertilizer. Produce out of FL to MM, eggs from IA to NYC, Long Island potatoes to ATL. Hot appliances from ATL to FL. And the list went on. J.T. Garrard actually was a dairymen, farmer, IH Truck dealer, Mercury auto dealer. Bought and sold stuff in these field as fast as bills of sale could be written.
A happy of working there. As he an IH Dealer, we had access to any IH shop (truck or implement) nation wide. Go down, call in and advise needs, get the local Farmall place number, call there...OOPs ??? . Call back home, home calls IH, IH calls dealer. Says fix it, send bill to Chicago. Talk about mechanics getting on it. I once had the differential replaced in Athens, TN, (in a 22 White trade in I was testing out), on the week end, and they drove to a Ford truck dealer to get it.
Fun, you bet....

 

I could see a dozen or so bats flying in there and enjoying the journey. The look on folks faces when you fired the machine and blew them out would be priceless......

The pipe is end curved, hence no rain, snow or little flying birds...
The pipe is directed to the rear/opposite direction of travel, hence no windmill for the turbo.
More surprised someone did not want that huge back window padded and tarped to protect from flying rocks and cinder blocks dropped from over passes.
