I actually met him back then. My BIL was the Prop Master on Chips. I spent a lot of time on that show. He was actually pretty funny. But the other guy was nicer. I worked on a movie with the wife of the guy who played their Sergeant, That was nice too. Still married after all these years.

Crete drivers do 10s now at Mechanicsburg active fuel island (had to top off reefer b4 tcalling)...

Somethings going in with planners 2 blunders in 1 week... 1st, wmt load had a note in it stating deep frozen loads can't drop...I have an open window for corrine, ut I contact am bring up the note and get told csr says there's trailers there you can drop... hmmm.. no acknowledgement of the note I'm the load assgmt which I bring up... wmt rejects loads and says you guys should know better off to slc to tcall... so dh miles and some driver will get short haul pay cause someone's not paying attention...

2nd one 9pm liklve unload at cold storage pa Saturday I get there along with another Shaffer driver (they had a drop for 7pm) and guard says we're closed! Opens tomorrow at 6am to 2pm! No parking signs up and down the street... load gets tcalled at Mechanicsburg (with a dry van guy doing a 10 with windows blacked out inside island, lovely) so more dh pay and someone will be getting short haul pay on that ## up? I've heard there's 5 intern planners idk but what the heckS going on? 2 in a row... never had this crap happen b4 2nd year here... things going down hill?

Seems a lot more issues when they brought in all the new people. For me I haven't had a load over 600 miles in over a month. Got the new dispatcher at the same time fuel prices went way up so can't tell if it's him or just more short hauls being pushed. Maybe both.

Yep… I got screwed about a week and a half ago multiple times and I had a meeting with wilmer earlier this week about the shenanigans and I certainly very #### sure did not like their response or their reactions…

I've had the same type load to Corrine, but depending on the customer, some frozen loads can drop, some can't. That's where I dropped a frozen load before heading back east when my clutch pedal issue started the 1st time. But, the short #### load from Stockton to Tracy was a frozen load rejected from Corrine, so maybe something happened and they quit accepting all frozen loads again..or maybe it's a summer time restriction during the hot months.

it must be your newbie dispatcher...I have had a good mix of long and short runs. And I have BH2.0 trained right when it comes to a 34...in fact after I refuse a load or two because I don't have the hours and they don't want me to just pick it up and drop it somewhere, he asks if I need to do a 34 soon.

*Update - this morning got a load, 225 mile deadhead to pick up down by Adel, GA going to Vineland NJ for Tuesday. 1145 total miles.

Oh, BTW, if anyone picks up at the Mars plant in Albany, GA, the weight shown on the B/L isn't in pounds and in Kilograms...it's only in Kilograms. The load I picked up there at 1st glance said 18,200 ..but noticed before I left that it was Kg's... that's 41,000+ US pounds

The last month has been one of my best months for longer runs, so I think it just depends. I'm staying out slightly longer to be home over the 4th, but I've had 2 loads of around 1400, one 1300 and one 1250 since June 1st, plus a couple right around 1000. I've also had a 55 and a 9 mile short ones too. Last month I did a lot of shorter runs, but I still get the miles, doesn't seem to matter. Have only missed the mileage for bonus once since that started.
