That all depends upon the fleet.
Ours are greased every 10-15,000 miles and fully serviced every 35,000 miles. Example: Grease 145,000, 155,000, Service 170,000. Each truck has a sticker in the windshield to remind the driver when its due, and to call our shop when they will be swinging through. We'd also rather service them a bit early than late, so if it's still 1,700 miles until the service is due but they are passing by, we'll take that one in for service at that time.
Can you beat it? DD15 1,165000 MILES

2006 S60 14.0 with EGR at 1.4 million miles no overhaul. Change oil between 20-25k miles and still only burns 1 gallon of oil between changes. Oil Analysis shows doesn't even need to be be changed at 25k. Changed EGR valve and turbo twice during it's life.
JoeyJunk and Dadetrucking305 Thank this. -
My cousins truck had 1,40000 when he got another truck. He had 07 Volvo with cummins. He beat it and barely maintained it. Changed oil at 15-20k intervals. Rest of the truck was trash. Usual Volvo rust. However engine just kept on running with no overhaul or anything major done to it

Personally I think the more time you spend under the truck the better. Way too many times the breakdowns and failures people post on here were easily preventable had they crawled under the truck once or twice a week.Brettj3876, D.Tibbitt, Siinman and 5 others Thank this. -
