Oh, the temptation is there every day, as I find myself trying to sell the company with real numbers. The problem is, there are a dozen Chicago 1099 companies that have already talked to the same driver with promises of 75 cpm and 4,000 miles/week for dry van. Luckily, there are seasoned drivers who can still do math and realize the sack of lies they were presented and believe me instead, as my numbers make mathematical sense.
