I'd work for company that pays above the rest and treats me with respect. If they pay me well enough for ALL miles I drive then I can afford to save for vacation myself
Vacation time offered?

this is why when you work for most companies they will flat out make you go home before you go over 30 hours per week. If they don’t? You are entitled to whatever full-time benefits any and all other employees would get. I’ll think about this from a commonsense perspective. If that law didn’t exist we’d all be “part-time employees“. Heck good ole Joe worked 83 hours this week but we still consider him part time and we don’t have to give him any benefits. Lol
I quit that company and I told my boss to his face why I was quitting because he was a lying crook. And let me tell you it felt good to walk out that door. -

Vacation is a funny thing.
PRO TIP (from the recruiting office): It *is* negotiable. If you currently are getting 3 weeks from your employer, don't hesitate to ask a potential employer about matching it. It is one of the few things actually negotiable in hiring a driver these days. A company would be foolish to not match your current vacation package at risk of not hiring a highly-qualified and experienced driver... 2 weeks extra vacation pay per year is less than the expense of recruiting another driver.tscottme, sevenmph, rockeee and 1 other person Thank this. -
