They didn't want to be sued. Just like when I was at Crete years ago, I either stated fact, stated an obvious opinion, or posted something I heard from another driver, and stated it as such. They threatened to fire me at Crete for doing the exact same thing, and I dared them to..(actually leaned towards the VP that uttered that)...told them straight out that I have every right to do all three, and that firing me over it would be a violation of my free speech, and would have be more than happy to have a lawyer explain it to them. When they claimed that Nebraska doesn't require a reason to terminate someone, I pointed out that may be true, but they couldn't fire somone under false pretenses, and since they just threatened to fire me for my online posts, which was being openly recorded by yours truely, that they would have to explain it to a judge...and that I would probably be a better boss than the one they had at the time because I would find the best ambulance chaser to take as much of their precious money as he could find cause. I cannot be intimidated by management stooges.

You are formidable for sure. From what you are saying, it sounds like they chose to bring you back knowing you’d be voicing your takes online as well.

Best of luck with the new gig. Hope they have a more smooth and efficient operation.

This is why I respect the F out of Snack. Not many drivers would be this bold. But if more of us were like that, mega scum like Cueffer would be less likely to be so abusive.

Then maybe they should have tried to alleviate the issues....

They can learn to improve from unfiltered drivers providing honest feedback about issues that are real and cut into efficient driving which the driver and company benefit from! I think ssb provided the execs discussion points on how to improve many things at the company imo

These mega’s don’t care what Snackbar thinks or anyone else. For every one pissed employee there is another dozen mirror foggers ready to sign on. They don’t care about the turnover.

There is a spirit of uncooperativeness in Lincoln that is common to aloof entities.

The Operation Department's Hierarchical attitude towards the Peon Drivers creates an Adversarial relationship similar to that found in Union Companies.

I, and many Drivers, don't do well in such cold natured inputless environments. We require a bit more respect and consideration of what we can offer. Fact is they want no input from the Driver. They are strictly a Yes Man Operation. Some drivers are ok with that.

Tonn is content with this format and it will not change. Which is precisely why SSB could not fit there.

I never understood why people that aren’t satisfied with a job stay, or for that matter, any situation in life. Everyone is better off when they move away from bad situations, from top to bottom.
