That's the larger outfit that pays by the load. Took a gander around their yard and they had decently looking equipment. Not anything that'll win a beauty award but I've seen far worse. I'm not sure how load pay differs from per mile pay though.PacoTaco Thanks this.

I can't answer that question; maybe someone else on here can.Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.

I'm just saying because CT consistently has some of the worst looking equipment I've ever seen on the road. And half the time they're not even on the road...they're sitting on the shoulder waiting for a wrecker to get there.
I did look into some that you posted. YRC could be a opportunity to explore but I'm in no hurry to change companies. Just looking to see what my options are before I make any serious decisionsFlat Earth Trucker and Chinatown Thank this. -

Head over to the "seeking Employment" sub-forum and post your location, experience, and what you are looking for. You just might find a match in there, as active recruiting is not allowed outside of the employment sections.

kllm or possibly other reefer outfits. I can’t speak for other reefers or if fuel prices changed our policy (I switched to dedicated), but I’d get deadheaded 400-500mi to pickup beef loads when I was otr. Salinas is practically enroute to dodge city for any dhs originating east (ksc, i70, west of st louis). I was going to say ne too (iowa area) but there’s a closer beef plant.
