Midwest Travel Plaza in Cuba, Missouri to become T/A

I seen TA Express signs and pumps being built behind Norwood truck stop, Norwood, Mo off hwy 60 the other night too.

 

The only way to fix that truckstop is by using a bulldozer. Complete dump.

 

I didn’t go inside, was tight getting in with that construction, did a 30 and ate from out of my fridge

Doesn't show any yet on the app. I was reading comments on Truckerspath and someone mentioned they removed all hot food from the fuel building? Kinda goofy if that's correct...

 

Long as they keep Dotties, they can be whatever truck stop they want to be. That chili is slept on when they have it at the buffet

 

Hmmm one guy at a Love's laid out a similar model, but the commission he got was based on a particular repair. Tires put little if any commission on his pay, but something like, say for example, a full service oil change put more. Back then he was getting 17 per hour at the Love's in Angola, IN. That was about 6 years ago though. If he stayed, he's probably doing Hella good now. Ironically, he left TA prior to them and he wasn't making squat.

 

This truly sucks... Another good truck stop gone.

 

Dottie's was one of my few go to restaurants ... but they were already starting slip the last time I was there ... changed thier menu and got rid of thier homemade corned beef hash ... only one of 2 in the country I've ever found that was homemade.
