you may know this already but I wouldn’t try parking at the TA in North Bend on Sunday. It’s pure madness in there.

 

Those things weigh about 10K each? They sure don’t look it.

Have that customer show you how to run the machine. There will come a time when you will have to load and or unload yourself. Especially if you move up to bigger freight.

I occasionally haul these out of Dundalk port in Maryland for busy work on the east coast. You load yourself at that port. Some of the places will have someone load it if your not comfortable and some won’t. One of my coworkers absolutely refuses to operate any machine whatsoever. He went to one of the places that won’t load the machines for you and had to pay $50 of his own money to another driver to load him. Now he just gets to set out on the east coast, for no money, because he can’t do the busy work we have. Don’t be that guy.
