Glad to see you get a driver friendly load, seems like you've had some challenging ones

9 chains, 12 binders and 3 straps later...I am UT bound. Once I got to the shipper I found out I have to deliver in St. George UT, North Bend, WA before I drop the remaining unit at the yard in Arlington

Nice run, especially if you can get the first drop off Friday.

you may know this already but I wouldn’t try parking at the TA in North Bend on Sunday. It’s pure madness in there.

Unfortunately I won't make St. George until Saturday, the customer is open until noon on Saturday and will have someone there that can unload their unit, then 1000+ mile run up to stop 2 for Monday....then off to the office.

My TWIC card came in the mail today... will they allow me to have my wife send it to the office?

These 3 forklifts only gross 30,000 lbs total but they feel incredibly tippy. I have hauled 46,000 lbs of glass that didn't feel this top heavy.

Those things weigh about 10K each? They sure don’t look it.

Yeah just address it to supersnackbar c/o Travis or Kim.

Have that customer show you how to run the machine. There will come a time when you will have to load and or unload yourself. Especially if you move up to bigger freight.

I occasionally haul these out of Dundalk port in Maryland for busy work on the east coast. You load yourself at that port. Some of the places will have someone load it if your not comfortable and some won’t. One of my coworkers absolutely refuses to operate any machine whatsoever. He went to one of the places that won’t load the machines for you and had to pay $50 of his own money to another driver to load him. Now he just gets to set out on the east coast, for no money, because he can’t do the busy work we have. Don’t be that guy. 089EF5A0-17C7-446C-8444-8BCA7EF9E504.jpeg

My guess would be their suspensions allowing a little wiggle. Not enough to be seen, but enough to be felt

    Lonesome Thanks this.
