Really that wouldn't even be hard to do, just have to hire a couple extra paperwork people to handle it

the idiots at the state govt will be swamped by paperwork the week before the new rule kicks in .kuzima93, Lite bug, MartinFromBC and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'm guessing some companies that are at the 50 truck mark or just over will be going down to 49 trucks

Yup, a couple of paperwork people. At 50 grand a year apiece. Plus benefits. So there's another 100 grand a year in expenses for basically the same revenue.
There are times I don't like this state very much. -

One caveat though. None of the people who have left California looking for other states to screw up can come back. Ever. We'll have a border patrol. The border line will be a free fire zone.
The more I think about this the better I like it. There's an elders meeting tomorrow night. It might be a good start for some talk.homeskillet, MartinFromBC and okiedokie Thank this. -
Or, just make Cali a country of it's own and put a big red X over one of the stars on the flag...I can deal with being part of a 49 state country.

I asked about an Electric KW down here. Its around but not quite there at 50K lb, and not available in Aus yet. I was told another 5 years realistically before a 100K lb version would be here. Local manufacturing, training, technical support, customer support were just as much reasons for the time as limited electrical grid network.
I turn the TV on and our State government is dropping 1.7 billion on new renewable electrical grid infrastructure and creating 77,000 jobs in 10 years.
Surely California has something similar but bigger for this 50 trucks by 2025. Thats a lot of cables, steel, concrete, or what ever needs transported to build it. Probably way to late but perhaps the quick and clever OOs could have opportunities to be singing ETs praises over the next 5 to 6 years time proposed for them in the plan. Then step into one of their own.MartinFromBC Thanks this. -
Actually it would be easier in my opinion.
10 companies, each has 49 trucks, and a manager, shop, and such.
Than 1 business with 490 trucks, and nobody has a clue what is going on, you don't even know the employees by name, its too easy for the shop to get away with not properly maintaining the trucks, and the slackers have room to hide, and keep slacking off, while its hard to get recognized if you are a great employee.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Sell it?
You will need to pay some to get rid of it, but it will be worth it.homeskillet, okiedokie and PoleCrusher Thank this.
