We just stopped getting travelers in- 2 at a time for a week at a time. I think now it seems like we're slowing up and moving through our backlogged frieght.

I saw a video on youtube today that reminded me of this conversation from about a year ago.
This guy was throwing rocks at Phoenix Police officers. The police officers shot the man and killed him. The police officers were not arrested. The law considers it to be a justifiable homicide done in self-defense.road_runner Thanks this. -
Been trying to get out of LTL for while now due to work life balance. Had an interview today with a fuel service company. 24 bucks an hour and the hours are 12-8 pm Monday-Saturday. That’s a big hell no. Worse hours and less pay. I get paid almost 35 an hour to drive a forklift. I’m ok with a pay cut for better hours but ####. It’s rough out there. We got it pretty good in LTL. Count your blessings fellas!

what warehouse pays $35/hr?

Fuel service? As delivering this to petrol stations?
Nevermind the shoddy pay, but do you really want to be delivering your fuel nto the insanity of a petrol station during your specified hours? Are they bloody mad? -
Fedex Freight is at 34.60.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this.

Interesting that I am going to share a delivery story that relates to this.
While the forks would be helpful for lower height heavier freight, I would rather have an installed strap on the hand truck to help stablize taller freight.
Could have used that strap just this morning on a delivery. Didn't tip over, but it wasn't fun.
