I think you have two ways to solve this situation first is to move on and find a new job for yourself and the second one is to take legal action against your company for the wrongful termination. If you are willing to fight for your rights and take legal action against your company then I would advise using the best wrongful termination lawyer to guide you well. I too fell into a similar situation and consulted to get me what I was owed.

Are you aware that you're replying to a post from 2019?
The OP was last active on TTR in March of 2021. Also, please don't advertise for lawyers or law firms on TTR. -
Unless you pay.....advertising dollars are always welcome....LOL

First of all you can down load the EEOC complain forms here
Selected EEOC Forms
Second you don't need an appointment with them, file the complaint and they will contact you. They'll get your side of the story, ask for names contact info etc.
Then they do an investigation. When that's done, regardless of the out come ask for a letter for "right to Sue" they have to issue it. That's what the lawyer wants. Been there done that.
Good luck -

A lot of companies are adopting Zero Tolerance for violence policies. This includes name calling and cussing (mean words...) The only thing that is likely to happen if you fight the termination is that it will be sent to a company paid arbitrator who will simply rule against you.
Have you noticed in the last few years, when you attend orientation at a new company they are ever so quick to get you to sign up for the Arbitration. If you haven't noticed, most likely your company has or had given you a company policy/rules/regs booklet with a ton of other paperwork and had you sign a paper that basically says you are in receipt of this booklet and all relevant paperwork that comes with it to be read by you at your convenience. Hidden in the papers is an Arbitration agreement which is heavily bent against your rights. Most often times signing these things, you are waving your right to sue the company even for wrongful termination. In this way the companies protect themselves. If you choose not to sign the Arbitration paperwork the company will disinvite you from orientation...NightWind Thanks this. -
I'll repeat what I said then - It is very unlikely that the EEOC will even take the complaint, there isn't much to this industry that would qualify as age discrimination and it would not be this.
Move on, get another job, if asked just say it was not the right fit for you. Don't vent or act like it is something that is a big deal, the person interviewing you will just put you on a no hire list. -
The EEOC has to by law take the complaint. I don't want to argue about it simply because I have been there and done that so I know how it works and that is ALL I am saying.
As to it being a post from 2019 I have read many older post on TTR that have helped me in the present time. While the original poster may never read this some one else may find it helpful.
If everyone had the mindset of forget it and move on women would still be at home in the kitchen barefoot pregnant and belonging to their husband. We would have never made it to the moon...
We are ALL entitled to our thoughts and I respect yours while not agreeing with them.
Happy Trails.snowman1980 and scottied67 Thank this.
