I don’t know the legality of pulling phone records but if they need a search warrant Walmart will get if, even so you have either 30 or 45 days to provide your phone records, if you don’t provide them YOUR ARE FIRED, let go, don’t come back , plain and simple.

 

I lasted 6 months with them, personally I use the cpap machine, so I have my records when I hire onto new companies. Unfortunately no it's not dot or federal law but companies can set there own policies on this crap. If I remember correctly if Crete feels you need a sleep study they give you like 90 days to get it done. Sure it sucks and its expensive as crap but if you have it you need treatment.
I'm sure the ops driver was aware of this and obviously tried not to do it.
So its partly there fault for not getting tested.
Stop blaming companies and just do as they say. Lmao current one wants me to behave for there camera fir instance, I refuse to so I'm moving on.
Am I blaming the company? No I'm blaming there stupid camera system, but company has a few other annoying things as well.

 

The only time I ever got a quarterly bonus was in the fourth quarter of the year. I was constantly 100-200 miles just short of the bonus. I also just missed my yearly raise because I was short on miles even though it’s forced dispatch. When I called to complain about it I was told I took too many days off. 42, I had taken 42 days off the last 12 months. They told me if I wanted to qualify for the next years raise I should work harder. I’m quitting and turning my truck in a couple days.

 

Always funny how the office workers who get every weekend off and work 9-5 think the 70 hour/wk drivers are lazy for wanting to see their homes a few days a month

 

Lincoln is inept…they don’t care either..I left in September because of 8300mi mo…thats with staying out 5 wks…

 

I don’t know,but I get over 30K every quarter.They send me a PP,and I’m rollin.

 

I've only missed it twice since they've implemented it, both times in the 4th quarter because I take a lot of time off in that quarter. Every other quarter I've usually got it with a week or ten days to go. I missed it the 4th quarter by around a thousand miles, but I was home 20 days that quarter.

 

I liked Crete, I wouldn’t mind going back. When I worked there in 2018, Crete paid for the sleep study but I had to pay for the CPAP and truck modification. Yes I was upset that I had sleep apnea.

 

I just left Crete Owner Op division is not a bad company I just think thry don't have enough people that care enough or know what they're doing. It was more of a personnel issue than a company issue. I think it's a Solid company overall

 

Walmart only pulls up your cell phone records if you’re in an accident. You have to be with Verizon or AT&T. You can use a headset with 1 touch but several rules about not too much time on cell phone but that’s true they previously didn’t allow any phone calls. Absolutely no texting.
Yes Walmart uses a road facing camera that can see the reflection off your windshield. There’s a driver facing camera that is allegedly turned off but you can block it with sun visor.
Walmart is paying the money though, I earned $112,000 last year.
