Could they make trying to enter a state highway a bit less like trying to hack someone's facebook password by guessing randomly? I don't know why I even try it anymore, it never works.

    Mark,
if these have been addressed already then great
1: east bound 60 in ontario, ca area from 71 to i-15 shows as weight restricted (westbound is fine)

2: rancho cucamunga,ca northbound i-15 from just north of the 210 junction to top of the hill locks up the tnd 500 requiring a full shut down and restart, again southbound is fine.

waiting with baited breath for next update and new maps whenever that happens

really have enjoyed the tnd 500

    thanks for all you do
    Jeff

I never have any problems entering a state hwy, for ex. one in LA I
would enter LA 1 or if a fed hwy US 90 etc.

When going to a truck stop, always make a note of the exit that it says when you are looking for the point of interest. This way you know the correct exit.
Many many times it will send you to an early one and on secondary roads to get to it, when you could have exited right at the stop.
Does this with all routing. I always double check. The GPS is used more for time/ milage than for actually routing. Though I will use it's route as a starting point.

I have found this on the TND as well as the Cobra. I have come to the conclusion that it does it so the destination is on your right and you don't have to make a left turn. Good idea if there is a median in the way. Otherwise a pain.

My old, old, old, old Garmin 2720 Does that sometimes. That is a feature they should remove, rarely do you find a median that does not have turn lanes to allow you access to the businesses.

Just bought the Rand McNally here at the T/A in Seymour, IN. Looking forward to trying it out tonight, 2359 pick up. and then 600 Miles for a test run. Had to bring my laptop inside to the restaurant to update which it may not need since it seems to already have 1472 on it.

thanks for the answer,, but what we are finding is that usually more of incorrect truck attribute on the correct ramp. As you let us know Rand verifies and corrects.
