I’m going to tell you a story about Tiny.
Tiny was one of my ole lady’s dogs, this lil ankle biting, bark all the dang time chihuahua.
Old Tiny thought he was the meanest, baddest dog that ever lived.

He’d run up to anything barking, and biting a person on the ankles, if he knew you or not, except the ole lady.

Anyway, there was this other dog showed up, dumb ole bird dog i called Red, he’d get lost, have to drive around and find him, bring him back, and he even once fell out of a car window that was parked because he leaned to far out.

But Tiny had a companion to run around & terrioze the neighbors.(1 mile away)

One day, I got ready to go to work and ole Tiny ran under the old car i had, Wouldn’t leave.
I thought, if i start it, he’ll run out.
But he didn’t.
Got ole lady out, she couldn’t get him to come out.
So I thought, I’ll back up a bit, just a bit, stop and he’ll move out.
Nope. Tiny wasn’t moving.

So, Backwards I went, Ole Tiny, decided it was time to go, I ran him over with the steer tire, rhs.

Ole lady went to crying, “He’s dead, you killed him,yada yada.”
I’m like, “He’s still breathing, I’ll go get the gun.” as he started yelping and carrying on.
I came back out and Tiny was up wandering around like nothing happened, as we live in the sands and it just mashed him into it.

Anyway, about a month after Tiny got ran over by an 87 mustang, he and Red wandered off, not to be seen again now for about 20 years give or take, but I still wonder sometimes about Tiny, & Red.

 

These are dang good.

 

Shocked. Can't believe people would hoodwink a government program.

 

Wow....

 

I got up at 7am today. No alarm, just woke up.

Just did day off stuff....watch youtube videos, read a book, cook breakfast, etc.

Finally, after a late lunch, I tell Missus Skillet, "I'm gonna go take a nap".

She says "You always do that on your days off".

I said "So what? The bills are paid, the shopping is done, we got nowhere we have to go. So, if I don't go out, I don't spend money, or use any gas in the car, right?"

Missus Skillet says, "Yeah, you're right".

"SEE? Naps SAVE MONEY!"

She was still standing at the kitchen sink pondering my statement, as I walked on back to the bedroom.....

 

About a half hour ago, Missus Skillet sez to me,

"Are you gonna get off your ### and make yourself some brownies, or are you just gonna keep torturing yourself, sitting there thinking about them?"

I hadn't said a word, but I WAS thinking about brownies. Weird.

I made some brownies.......
