Why are so many companies located in Chicago, IL?
Yes it is a big hub, but whats the real reason to base there? Cheap labor, cheap insurance, cheap shops what exactly?

Big city, lots of freight, big population, which means a big population of folks who want to do the same thing and that's own a trucking company. I'm just shooting from the hip, I really don't know. It ain't a big number of reputable companies there. Just a large number of 1099 companies.
