Clearing a clogged discharge hose on a pneumatic?

    1. Shut off the product valve and the vibrator valve.

    2. Turn the line valve wide open.

    If that doesn’t clear it, then open and close the line valve repeatedly. That creates surge.

    That worked for me the one and only time I got clogged.

    1. Close all hopper valves.
    2. Open the discharge valve all the way.
    3. Close the aerator valve and top air valve (you want to be pushing all blower air into the discharge line).
    4. Wait a few seconds, sometimes the pressure will break through the plug.
    5. If the plug persists, open the blowdown valve all the way and wait for the tank pressure to drop.
    6. Open the first hopper valve upstream of the plug for a few seconds, then close it again (the trailer will hop up and down). Repeat until the plug clears.
