100 percent agree on that as well. Not all engines are made to run the same RPM's that may need to be geared to for the emissions to work right. That is kind of my point spec the right parts for the job you are doing. Lot's of people just buy used truck and think it will work for what they are doing.
I think I saw that same thing but not sure if it is gonna be law or not. I did not do much reading on it as I just seen a headline and heard someone talking about it. I sure hope it does not happen so fast since I would like to order a new truck right around that same time frame when it starts.

Anymore it seems like the current administration "think" on these type of regulations is more and more the "mainstream". They're implementing what they want one little piece at a time and there's no such thing as rolling any of it back when opposition think controls the levers of power. It just doesn't happen and that's a fact. It's really ****ed up that people trying to improve the reliability and efficiency of their own equipment are considered the bad guys and most brain dead people reading that article would agree that they are too.
cke, hope not dumb twucker, lynchy and 7 others Thank this. -
“I forgot.”
or “I don’t know what you mean, I never, yada yada.” -
The law is essentially "EPA regulations (and well, all regulations) have the force of law" but it was passed as law. -
U.S. Senate votes to overturn heavy duty truck emissions rules.

Never said it was enforced as a law, it is a regulation which means Congress has oversite but did not create or debate it.

The purpose of the case being brought against the Michigan defendants, and the very high profile way in which it was announced is very simple.
The current administration is doing everything it can to force EV cars and trucks, large and small down the throats of the American consumer and economy.
If you need further proof, look at this statement from Jennifer Granholm, The Secretary of Energy who wants to mandate the US military vehicle fleet to be EV by 2030, 6 years from now.
