Travel agent said they're not allowed to split loads anymore. I have to go to a member of the management team and see if they'll do it.

After my doctor not being able to change my meds without an office visit and more blood tests to see if that's what is causing my heat intolerance or if it's something else, a 48+ hour wait for every load the past few weeks, now this SNAFU with the delivery on this load, and not getting the miles this month...it has me pretty down right now. Plus, the wife is possibly losing her job after August because a new city manager wants to totally reinvent the city's Farmers Market and remove the city's responsibility for managing it...this whole year may be down the tubes.

just stayed on duty while I was there. Had plenty of time and I knew I was going to get a reset on Sunday/Monday.

Darn on the no splitting. Honestly I was pretty surprised when management suggested doing that a about a year ago. Its always been kind of considered “rigging” the system here. But I’m your situation Travis might make an “exception”, hell splitting was his idea anyway.

3000 plus’s miles on the 2nd of the month would be a good start to the next month. That doesn’t help much if you were planning on going home though.

Sorry to hear about your wifes job. Hopefully she is able to keep it. If not think of all the money youll save when she gets forced into retirement and rides with you full time

So on the new T680 next gen’s one of the issues they are having (along with other models) with the Endurant transmissions are the control stalks, they are failing which results in intermittent shifting failures that require resetting the computer. Fortunately I was able to get my truck in before getting stranded, of course they are out of stock nationally and we’re looking at rebuilding mine, thankfully I’m on hometime. Just another thing to add that to the list of items for new trucks that should have been discovered in the test and development stages.

Yeah I don’t ever remember having that issue with my manual. No X/Y servo to fail, no wiring harness issues. I’m really looking forward to it. I might ask in our weekly driver forum if they are going to bring back breakdown pay with the new trucks. Really stir some #### up.

1st Gen has the same issue, as mine just was done. My trans would randomly go into neutral, while underway. It was very inconvenient.

11:15 and I am still waiting to hear about delivering stop 2. It's now 8 days on this 3500 mile run, and still one more stop that won't be delivered until tomorrow at the earliest.

    Bumper Thanks this.

Brings back bad memories of the 5 stopper at Magnum from the twin cities to Dallas…sounds like a lesson learned, frustrating but one you will get through.

All the best to your wife, mine just went through and excessing (school teacher) and ended up finding a better job, hopefully something similar happens for you.
