I guess that is good if you ever decide to move and still plan to work.

I think Estes is in there for top pay.

    Linehaul .77
    Extra board .80

    Hourly like $31+ something

Teams is just up there somewhere but definitely more than everyone else and they take priority over everyone else.

Central boasted, at least what I found in the DFW area the highest starting pay of them all. The end result? They ended up going out of business. They were crazy stupid with their starting wages in my opinion. $30 an hour or more for someone with no LTL experience. One recruiter when I drove for ACI kept trying to get me to come over to Central. I never did, and I was thankful I didn't.

actually no one ended up buying them. Too much debt and leveraged to hell.

It was owned by Jerry Moyes who was/is the founder of swift transportation, but he has no seat on the board or any ownership of swift transportation now.

Old Dominion out of Rialto CA

    Linehaul .8018cpm
    City $35.10/hr, OT after 50hrs/wk
    Team .8724cpm, .4362cpm split

All on-duty not driving time is paid $15/hr, 15-min breaks avg between $30-$40/hr depending on some sliding scale OD uses.

Our longest linehaul bids are Fresno (530mi) and Phoenix (624mi), the latter of which necessitates a 70mph truck because it's a 13-14hr day. All-in, a Fresno bid pays $118k a year, Phoenix pays $138k. Assuming a 50-week year, you don't miss a day, aren't cancelled and don't have to spend a night away from home due to traffic or construction delays.

Pay is based on top rate after 2+ years with company. Transferring in from a different terminal means your terminal seniority starts over, and it'll take a LONG time to collect enough of it to land one of these bids.

While I wait, I'm driving a team bid. It's Fresno money, with the caveat of being home 2 days a week instead of every night.

Can you even buy a nice house in Cali on that 100K salary? The homes are like 1M for a shack
